This is a Traditional SEWING PATTERN. No embroidery machines are needed for this pattern. 

 

New to my Mini Plush series is this adorable Kawaii Howling Blaster Striped Wolf. He features glass eyes, hand painted stripes, seed beads for his claws, a safety nose and is fully jointed! This mini series is meant to be tiny and sit adorably in your hand.

Material List: 

  • Minky Fabric in 1-2 Colors OR Ninelle fabric (used for mini vintage bears).
  • Small Sharp Scissors 
  • Medium Sharp Scissors
  • Polyfill stuffing 
  • Hand Sewing Needle
  • 100% polyester thread 
  • SF101 - Pellon Shape Flex Woven Cotton Interfacing (Only if using minky fabric - approx 1/4 yard)
  • 9-10mm Glass Eyes
  • 15mm cotter pin joints x 4 - Legs (Purchase a set that includes washers/pins/disk)
  • 25mm cotter pin joint x 1 - head (Purchase a set that includes washers/pins/disks)
  • 20-22mm cotter pin joint x 1 - head (Purchase a set that includes washers/pins/disks)
  • Copic Marker for any markings on character 
  • Small needle nose pliers (For turning joints)
  • Hemostats - (They really are needed to make this project easier)
  • Awl - (For making small holes for joints)
  • Gutterman Polyester 100% Upholstery Thread

 

Alt. Supplies List (Optional)

  • Pet Wire/Slicker Brush (for brushing pieces post turning right side out) 
  • Chalk pastels (If you want subtle details as show in tutorial)
  • Seed Beads in white (teeth) + pink (claws) 2mm
  • Mini/thin hand sewing needle if using seed beads
  • Embroidery thread skein (If making mouth detail)
  • Iron (Only if using Pellon SF101)
